As of 30/09/2021 the modem is working again !
Modeming in 2020 is not as good as it was back in the good old days, mainly because the classic infrastructure no longer exists and everything is VoIP in some form.
Calling the BBS.EC modem is no exception, it's a real modem but attached to a Vonage fax line.
What this means is that you can't go that fast or the line shits out, I've tried to cap my modem at this end at 2400 baud, but I would really consider connecting at 1200 baud just in case.
